On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide from Cheetah Safaris and then transfer to your accommodation for an overnight.
Overnight at: Lake Victoria View Guest House or similar (B/B)
DAY 2: MABAMBA SHOE BILL AND NGAMBA CHIMPANZEE EXPERIENCE.
Today after breakfast, you will drive to Mabamba swamp where you will do a canoe ride to look for one of the most endangered bird species the shoebill. After the canoe ride, you will drive to UWEC headquarters where you will be transferred to the pier next to the Lake Victoria to meet your 9:00 am boat trip. It takes about 45 minutes to cross to the Ngamba Island; you will also cross the Equator again in the waters. The sanctuary houses over 42 chimpanzee orphans. The guide will hand you over to the Orphanage management who will brief you on the sanctuary; before touring the place. You will be amazed by the chimps as they clap their hands, dance, play in the cage with motor tires and how they relate with each other and their keepers in the relatively short period of time. It’s all fantastic and fan. Admittedly, the ideal place for the chimps would be reintroduction in the forest / wild however, this is not possible for a variety of reasons making the sanctuary second to none. you will transfer back to Entebbe for your overnight.

DAY 3: CITY TOUR AROUND KAMPALA AND VISIT WAKALIWOOD.
Early morning breakfast at 7:00am, you will embark on your tour to Kampala city with your guide who will help you move you around. Some of the places that you can’t afford to miss visiting are the:
We shall visit the slum areas of wakaliga to meet the famous film makers of wakalihood. You will spend some time with the directors showing you how they make their films, take pictures have a chance to also act your personal scene and be included on the Wakaliwood World Wall of fame, later drive to visit other sites in Kampala
This is a huge fruits and vegetable market centrally located in the city. It is a great place to get a flavor of Kampala’s local produce. Some great finds include fresh vanilla pods, delicate oyster mushrooms, and a wide variety of Indian spices (cardamom, cinnamon…).
Uganda National Cultural Centre.
This is where all people from different parts of the country come together and showcase different traditions and cultures. They conduct cultural events such as music Galas.
This is one of the best places to buy crafts and souvenirs. It is easier to bargain for a better price if you buy many things from one stall.
Rubaga Church and Namirembe cathedral
Built at the beginning of the century, the magnificent St. Mary’s Catholic Church stands at the top of Rubaga Hill, overlooking the city. On the other side of the hill is Namirembe cathedral built on top of the hill with a magnificent view of Kampala city.
Five kilometers north-west of Kampala on the Hoima road is the burial place of the late Kabakas Mutesa I, Mwanga, Daudi Chwa, and Mutesa II. This historical site was once the palace of the Kabaka of Buganda
This beautiful temple is called the Mashriqul-Adkar, or “the drawing place of the praise of God” (in Persian). It is the mother temple of Africa.

Uganda National Museum
A display of Uganda’s cultural heritage where one can see ethnological and natural-historical exhibitions. One of its most interesting features is the collection of traditional musical instruments, which one is free to play. The museum contains rich materials from Uganda and is a must see.
Taloso bead project.
For bead lovers, this is the perfect place for you. African and imported beads like wood, horn, bone, shell and bark are neatly stored in different jars inviting the young (and not so young) to make their own necklaces and bracelets. You can check out the earrings, necklaces, bracelets, mirrors, baskets and purses that are on sale.

Day 4: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK (Whispers of the Wild)
Have an early morning breakfast and later transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, where you will arrive in the afternoon. Relax for some time and at sundowner go for a game drive.
Dinner and overnight at: Leopard rest Camp or similar (B/LD)
Day 5: IN LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK (Whispers of the Wild)
In the early morning, you will go for a game drive within the national park.
Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and relax until lunch time. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo and later go for a sundowners’ game drive.

You can do a 2 or 3 hours horseback ride within the park. (Cost per person: US$110 for 2 hours; US$130 for 3 hours)
Day 6: LAKE MBURO NP – JINJA (The Adventure Capital of Africa)
In the early morning, you will have breakfast, check out and then you will go for a brief game drive as you drive out of the national park and transfer to your lodge/hotel in Jinja. We will have a stopover at the Equator for photos and souvenir purchasing. Lunch on route

Optional activity: You can do a horseback ride within the park. (Cost per person: US$110 for 2 hours; US$130 for 3 hours)
Day 7: BOAT RIDE TO THE SOURCE OF THE NILE – ENTEBBE
In the early morning, you go for a boat ride to the source of the River Nile “The longest river flowing North in the world” thereafter you can do one of the optional activities listed below. You will later have lunch and then continue to Kampala for an overnight.
